You take a lot of anabolic helpers and other supports.
Do you think this is heart healthy ??
Will the mesh hold up to your BP ?
How much actual cardio are your doing…be honest.?
Heart health,is my top priority, just had an echo done. The amount of prescription drugs I have is a lot. And keep checking with the pharmacy about action and reaction. They know about test and Arimidex, my doses are low. Deca is used for the pain factors I have in the shoulder damage. BP 120/78 it never changes now. Which is weird,it does drop. I have a pulse socks on me and use it during the cardio session. Physical rehab has me for an hour 3 times a week doing a lot and keeps me going, then it’s to the purple place for bike ,usually there for 1 1/2 hours. Estrogen was a problem thus the Arimidex which the endocrinologist wanted me on. The other 2 oral are at lowest dose I could get. Now with my problems I wear out very fast. And have to sleep. Which is the norm for HFP ,but since clicking things up haven’t been out of breath as much ,actually been pretty good. Not running stance.Getting lean will increase the EF and boost my energy levels backup. I going to cut down back to close to before 5 years ago. Had to wait till things looked better and now they do. 6 months is next appointment for heart specialist, cardiologist is 14th. Your questions is exactly what I ask my self all the time. Im not going to just sit and actually die sitting ,meaning not do anything and be a pork chop. Ask and had liver enzymes checked for all prescriptions,it was very good.
Thank you for the honest question.
Tale care of yourself , it’s the best gift you can give yourself and family.
Ozempic, well 10 hrs later and I figured out what it does. First hour had cramp in low abdomen, slight but noticeable. Definitely nausea, but not bad. It took my hunger ,wants?away. I forced a quart of fresh strawberries raspberries isolate protein down and Im not hungry at all. So now the game is afoot and In my logs I keep tract of everything now food,Peds, water timing of meds personal and heart Failure meds. Goal is lean out ,get heart function to 50+% and feel a lot better about my self since the trip to UPMC Pittsburgh Cardiac section.I was a broken man after I got home. It’s worth it to me and if anyone wants to read the logs I’ll put up,maybe it’ll help them mentally and physically.
But I do it with me wanting to live not give up and die,I refuse to let this take me away from my 2son daughter +1 grandson. This may sound disingenuous, but I learned life is a gift and you must hold on to it.As well as you guys,do it for yourself and the kids you love.
stuff has a lot of nasty sides. Bone density loss. Muscle loss. Types of cancer. Gi track issues.
Well I figured how it works, it takes away the hunger trigger ,which sorta figured it would. And it does a job of it.But I had to force to Eat while not feeling hungry. Tonight ate and went half way through my meal and my stomach cramped I had to stop, this is after my work out. But my sugar was low and felt it ,had to get something sweet. Then calmed down.
I will be documenting everything with my exercise to lose weight. But I did see a commonality in a lot of people that lose the muscle mass. They don’t know they have to get protein and proper amino acids into the body to keep muscle so the body doesn’t use it as fuel.Catabolism. BP today. 128/76 pulse 120 ,B12 taken before work out.
Just becareful man wish you the best
Thank you.2nd week now and the cramps nausea seemed to have stopped. I get full very fast now,and when I get the hint of wanting a sugar – this tells me Im low ,so I take a some sugar .I try to listen to what my body is telling me and try to be in sync with it. It DEFINITELY pulls water out of your body. Noticed a start of losing inches to certain areas and the legs are start to get a muscular quality to them. Very surprised at the results so far.
You know…you eventually not or crave sugar the more you lower it. Member tell your doctor your symtoms. Also I’m sure one of these guys can help you with a diet. Start reading about nutrtion too. You can work out all you want but the very first thing you should do is focus on eating right and getting rest. Wishing you the best man
Thank you for the advice. After work out or cardio very tired next day. Yes the sugar thing is coming along very well.Im impressed by how it is slowly taking away the wants.
Ozempic has finally shown results. But it’s a prick also. Today is shot day ,last night Italian nachos. Ozempic being the bastard let me know 3 hrs after I ate that IT WAS NOT HAPPY WITH MY DECISION,just like my X wife.
Only this bitch put some pain and cramps to it.
After getting up I look in the mirror and I see progress.Oz does not NOT like oils in your food ,chips, especially, nausea and now the taste is non palatable to me. Fresh things taste the best, fruits, veggies, meats.
This stuff is pulling fire watch 24/7 . Each time it shows what it can do. Impressive isnt it.
Total shock at last day of rehab. A older gentleman that I talked to last week can around and said “you lost some weight from last week” .I was floored. I said can you really see it ,he said yes. Of course I said thank you.
Apparently Im on the right track. Noticed a good side effect now,my heart sometimes would miss a beat ,not constant but I knew when it did,I don’t notice it as much and feels better.
But learning curve is the best thing about this drug and the warning sings.
YOU MUST DRINK 6 liters of water a day.If you don’t the plumbing stops up,lack of fluids.
Urges for protein, had this today.Had to eat a meal high in protein.
This one is very important, last night had an urge for chocolate, blood sugar was low. Because my calorie intake was low yesterday.
Over eating, found this out.Ate a little too much and the stomach was aching, lesson learned.
And again ,chip from the grease makes me very nauseous.
After work out protein shack 35 grams and 2% strawberries raspberries, forced it down ,BEST FEELING after done drinking it.
Just becareful man. Nhb knows more about Ozempic and other things then me too. Then again I didn’t trust it when it came out. Alot of people can help you with your diet. I’m personally concerned and hope you having a good cardiologist since covid things been messed up and effected people in differnt ways. I don’t want to tell you want to tell you what to do just want you to be healthy man. I don’t like anything that causes dehydration to much that’s just me. As far as the shoulder I hope your going to a real physical threapist place major hospitals have good ones I don’t trust these little pt places as well. Wishing you the best
Well Ozempic has a terrible side effect that made the news last night. Osteoporosis, softening of the bones. The girl took the drug and to me she was thin ,and is thin now. But she was diagnosed with osteoporosis and she was devastated.
A doctor said a very useful piece of information that is also in my notes while on this drug. It was about protein intake and eating when not feeling like it,and if you get the slightest urge for candy ,your sugar could be crashing. It got me twice on that.
The drug works ,but you have to be very mindful of what your body needs. You just can NOT STOP EATING. Worst thing you can do,then your body goes into catabolism, feeding off its self.
The girl is young ,but the calcium in her bones is low.She could rebound.
The doctor also said this drug will eat all your tissues for fuel, thus you have to eat. Not junk but protein not soy products ,severe estrogen sides. Now Im on the double dose at 5 weeks ,.50 on the pin. Nausea has gotten a little better.
This is my observation while Im on this drug.
My cardiac rehab in 2020 was the best thing to get me back up and running. Physical training to strengthen the heart. 17% EF,then now 40-45% that comes from the drugs and working out. Rehab saved me,and got me stronger. Big place a lot of people in there all the time.
