Cardio Overload? Finding the Right Balance with Strength Training

Alright, need some honest advice here 😅
I think I might’ve overdone things. I’ve been doing cardio almost every day (40–50 mins) trying to lose fat faster, but now my strength is dropping and I feel tired all the time.
I’m currently on a Push/Pull/Legs split, but it’s starting to feel like too much.
Should I cut down cardio or change my workout split?

Yeah bro, classic mistake.

Too much cardio + PPL = recovery nightmare. You’re basically burning yourself out.

Try this instead:Keep PPL but reduce cardio to 20–25 mins, 3–4x/week

Or switch to Upper/Lower or Full Body if you still want more cardio

Fat loss is about calorie deficit, not killing yourself with cardio.

I agree but honestly if you’re feeling exhausted, I’d say switch to Full Body for a while.

When I was cutting, I did Full Body 3x/week and even Cardio 3x/week Way better recovery and my strength didn’t drop much

Well Kyle ,what you’re experiencing is recovery imbalance.

You’ve increased energy output (cardio) without adjusting Training volume , Nutrition and rest.

what I’d suggest You to consider Full Body or Upper/Lower split with that Keep lifting heavy and Reduce cardio to moderate levels

Damm this sounds exactly like my situation as well.. probably overdoing cardio without fixing recover.
