Hi there, I’m looking for some advice. I was recently prescribed TRT and the doctor suggested either glute or quad injections.
I’m not a fan of needles and read that glutes are typically the least painful spot for injections.
I had read 25g 1″ needles are the best way to go but I’m seeing a lot of folks recommended much smaller needles 27g, 29g, at 1/2″ to prevent scarring and less painful.
The test cypionate that I was prescribed is 100mg/ml and I’m supposed to take 50 mg x a week. So 0.5 ml
I’d like to go with a smaller needle if possible but I’m not sure if that’s too much liquid to inject. Or if it would take forever to push through.
Also, is 1/2″ needle long enough for the glute? I’m reasonably in good shape (6’1 and 185 lbs) but not super lean.
I just want to make sure I get it right when I order my needles online.
