Gyno obliterated by Raloxifene

It’s been a while since I posted and I thought I’d provide some useful insights into what worked *for me* to eliminate my gynecomastia.

My gyno came on slowly and was brought on by a combination of factors that messed with my TRT. I fell into a pretty deep depression at some point earlier this year, before I knew it my diet was poor, alcohol consumption had increased and training had gone out of the window due to injuries… the weight began to pile on. Basically, all the right circumstances for E2 to rise unchecked.

I then went on to develop gyno under my right nipple. I had a mammogram done and that really hit home, it was quite large hard marble size lump. Needless to say, it was completely my fault and I quickly needed to get things in check…. but for those that know – depression is a bitch like that and it took me some time to sort it out. I am now out of that dark hole, but it has taught me a valuable lesson to respect the TRT protocol and watch sharply my lifestyle choices. for a slightly overweight man in 40’s with 2 young kids, a high pressure job and mental health issues, I guess I had more on my mind than just getting ‘dialled in’ and everything caught up with me in the end.

I am on a modest dose of TRT (125mg Sustanon p/w only – never done AAS) and I’m on a few on medications for depression, anxiety and insomnia (been on those long term, desperately trying to get off!).

The doctor treating me recommended a SERM to try to eliminate the gyno AND Anastrozole to reduce E2. The Anastrozole worked almost immediately and provided a completely unexpected mood boost.

Tamoxifen/Nolva has a drug-drug interaction with SSRI’s, so that was out of the window.
