Every winter I get these damn things on my thumbs and they hurt like a mofo! Anybody know of some quick fixes/preventions?

No quick fix, but you gotta moisturize your hands daily. Try using okeefes working hands at night on a regular basis. Mine do the same thing then I have to stop being lazy and actually moisturize them. I work with hot ass water a lot and it really drys my hands out.

I have okeefes but I work in the food industry so I gotta wash my hands like 800 fucking times a day which is of no help to my condition

And thanks to modern technology I have no option of controlling the temperature unless I adjusted the mixer which would be caught on camera and end up badly for me. When my kids were in school I always had to tell them to flush the toilet. Then I started noticing my friends’ kids did the same thing. It’s because the toilets at the schools flush themselves. People say that necessity is the mother of all invention. I disagree (in the majority of cases), I say laziness leads to invention. I’m all about efficiency but there’s a fine line between that and just being flat out lazy.
