Best way to structure training cycles for consistent gains?

Hey everyone, I’ve been training for like 6 months. I keep hearing about cycles and protocols for gains. Right now I just do push/pull/legs every week.

Am I missing something? Should I be cycling my workouts differently for better results?

Yeah you’re on a solid base already with PPL.

When people talk about cycles, they usually mean structuring phases like:

Strength phase (lower reps, heavier weight)

Hypertrophy phase (moderate reps, volume focus)

Deload week

Instead of doing the same thing year-round, you rotate focus every 6–10 weeks.
