Hey guys, tried to find rules for this sub and I didnt see any. so if this isn’t allow let me know and I will take it down.

Basically I want to find someone local that can help me with getting healthy. I feel like the gyms will be people trying to sell me stuff. I was in powerlifting about 10 years ago, and have enjoyed other types of exercising and sports, so I don’t need someone that is going to walk me through each workout, instead I am looking for someone that can help me build an exercise routine to achieve my goals, and if they can help with nutrition thats a big plus.

Hey! I’d highly recommend looking at GymNet – they have a lot of trainers who work both in person and virtually. They’re all screened and identity verified. You can filter by workout type, certification, and more. Get 20% off with code GYMNET2024 here:Β  https://www.gymnet-fitness.com/. You can even filter by powerlifting specialized trainers too – https://www.gymnet-fitness.com/s?pub_workout-types=has_all%3Apowerlifting

Fitness Guru Nola. One on one private personal training gym in MetairieΒ

Ask on local Facebook groups for recommendations on what you’re looking for. I get a good majority of my clients through someone asking for a trainer and a client mentioning me on the post on our local town groups. It’s a good way to find those little studios and whatnot that you never would have realized existed unless someone told you about them.
